My music is a reflection of a deeply personal journey through immense challenges and profound healing. After experiencing the pain of assault in a church by a trusted shepherd, I grappled with resentment towards God. Yet, it was through this wilderness that He encountered me, leading me through a season of healing and restoration. The heartache of church hurt, where the truth of my experience was unknown, further shaped my path.
I also faced severe health crises, battling meningitis, and enduring the struggles of lupus, anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts and attempts. Through it all, God, in His boundless mercy, delivered me from every single tribulation. These powerful experiences are the bedrock of my songs, carrying messages of hope, resilience, and the unwavering presence of God.
